  1. What I'd want to do with $500 is buy my kids Christmas gifts. What I need to do is pay the bills or become homeless. I tried buying a $50 sewing machine thinking I could start sewing bags, curtains and things for personal use and/or sell. My husband came home and automatically took it back to the store. I want to go back to school, or take a course. But we can't even afford that! My kids don't qualify for free or reduced lunch they say we make too much - yeah right?! Then why are we struggling? We don't eat out, we go movies maybe twice a year, we don't buy or rent video's, I own only three pants, and maybe 5 shirts. We have no furniture in our living and dining room. Everything is so depressing especially when my kids have to do without.
